Writing it out...

I sent this book a friend who is having a hard time at the moment.
We live far away from each other and I want to help but I also understand
that what she is going thru is a process and it takes time.  We have talked,
I have listened but I want to do more to help her.  I sent her this book.
I have found writing to be helpful to me and am hoping it will do the same for her,
even if it is just a start. Thinking that it may be of interest to others,
I am passing it along :)

Janet Conner is the author of
You can read comments about her book at Amazon
I discovered much more at her website. She has a passion....

This is not for everyone but for those of you are interested, Happy Writing xx

Girl Talk and Window Thoughts

Lots of girl talk last weekend.
A friend mentioned that as she grew older she felt like she was invisible.
Another felt that she was treated differently because of her age...we are talking 50.
It is not the first time I have heard that. I never think that much about it and I wonder why.
Of course, now that they mentioned it, I can't seem to get it off my mind.
I think this is one of those midlife questions we just have to wrestle with.
I like to think it is a state of mind. It is how we see ourselves rather than how others see us.
Maybe I am delusional.
Grrr...
This is what happens on long plane flights.... the mind wanders.
I am still waiting for mine to land.
Just wondered if anyone else has had the same thoughts..no matter what age you are.
Thinking healthy thoughts on this winter night :)

Feeling Good~ Feeling Fine

My inner grizzly bear has headed for the hills.
This week I managed a manicure, pedicure,
facial and a haircut. It was time and I am
feeling much better. If you are reading this post
and thinking...ohhhh..
I say do it!

I have a long haul to Australia
and back next week for the very best reasons.
My son is graduating from University.
He will be in his military finest and I am
sure I will be grinning from ear to ear.
Tissues are packed.
I am ready.

Feeling good..feeling fine.
I hope you are too!!
