A Clean Sweep

Problem....

There are days when you have to say enough is enough and make a  clean sweep of it all. You know it is time when you can't find that one piece of paper, when you were certain you saw it there yesterday but 'poof' it is gone. You know it is time when your children start texting you with 'don't forget.....' and when you can no longer make sense of your own filing system.

Solution.....

I take one basket...walk around the house to my various nesting spots and throw it all in. I then sit with a cup of tea close by and a large space in front of me and start sorting. Let me tell you....when it is done, it is like a weight has lifted. I really should do it more often.

One last problem.....

Now...that desk of mine....I really must do something about that.

My plan is to come back and post an organised version of this :)

Thank you all for your comments on Making a Life Wish List. It is not dissimilar to what I am doing here. Making a clean sweep and taking stock. :) We can all do with a 'clean sweep' every now and again, don't you think?
