I've read this book Jeanne...it is called Astrid and Veronika here in Canada. Absolutely loved it. I think I gave my copy to one of my daughters (will have to check on that!)
I love this idea...will put my thinking cap on and have a look at some books I have that I can share.

Count me in, this sounds like such a great idea. It reminds me of the movie with Anthony Hopkins and Ann Bancroft, where he is a bookseller in England and she ends up having a couple decade long correspondence with him as he send books to her from his shop. I love it.

I cannot wait to see how this works. I was just thinking today of posting on my blog to ask if anyone was interested in my books that I read and post on.

I'll play...how about before sending along, a few words in the way of how the book made you feel written inside the title page, dated and signed. That way, as the book continues on it's journey it will have a record of whose hands it has passed through and whose hearts it has touched.
